Emily is a Firefighter/EMT for Unified Fire Authority in Salt Lake City. She also coaches climbing and teaches Wilderness Medicine classes. She was born and raised in Salt Lake City and has lived in four states and two countries. Emily loves climbing, being outside, her dog, and drinking coffee. She loves wilderness medicine because not only are you saving someone’s life, you have to do it with limited resources. It requires creativity and resourcefulness and thinking outside the box. It allows people to open their mind and realize that a lot of things are multi-use if their thinking is adjusted.
